A beautiful Italian wooden sculpture depicting a baroque full-body winged Angel. Gorgeous woodwork artistry, wonderfully polychromed and gilded with delightful facial expression on this messenger of God statue. The Angel is currently mounted on the bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed hanging using an eze on the back. Dates back to the period of the mid 1900s.
General: The overall dimensions of the sculpture are height 14,4 inches (36.5 cm) The overall dimensions of the angel sculpture are height 10,2 inches (26 cm), width 5.5 inches (14 cm), the base is 3.9 inches x 3,9 inches (10 cm x 10 cm), weight is 2.6 pounds (1.2 kg).
