A RARE and beautiful Church gilt wood carving sculpture depicting St Anne with Virgin Mary. Stunning hand carving workmanship with huge amounts of details and wonderful polychrome (painting in colour) and gilding. Dating back to the period of the mid to late 1800’s.

General: The overall dimensions are height 28.7 inches (73cm) and width is 11.8 inches (30cm). Depth of base is 9.1 inches (23cm). Height of the statue 20.9 inchess (53cm), width 9.4 ​inches (24cm) and depth of base 11.8 x 9.1 inches (30x23cm).

Condition: The statue is in good condition - some gilding loss and repair ........ please see enclosed images as a part of the condition description.
