This is a beautiful French antique (mid to late 1700s) gilded bronze altar crucifix featuring a wonderful Corpus Christi (body of Chrtist) statue, decorative cross finials, skull and crossbones and a weighted round base. It dates back to the mid-to late 1700s.
General: The cross's overall dimensions are 13.8 inches (35 cm) high and 11.2 inches (28.5 cm) wide. The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi are 5.1 inches (13 cm) high and 3.7 inches (9.5 cm) wide. It weighs 2.6 kg / 5.7 pounds.
