Altar Crucifix Carved Wood | 1700s Antique | 22.8" / 58 cm
A large and beautiful French antique baroque -1700s wooden altar crucifix featuring stunning Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture and wonderful acanthus cross finials. This crucifix comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the 1700s.
General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are a height of 22.8 inches (58 cm), a width of 9.4 inches (24.5 cm) and the base is 6.3 inches x 3.9 inches (16 cm x 10 cm) wide. The
overall dimensions of the Jesus sculpture are a height of 7.7 inches (19.5 cm) a height from the head to the toes of 6.9 inches (17.5 cm) and a width of 5.3 inches (13.5 cm).
