A RARE, large and beautiful French antique wooden altar crucifix featuring Maria Magdalena, stunning Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture and Memento Mori on the base. Incredible antique woodwork artistry with wonderful polychromy (painting in colour) and gilding. This crucifix comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the mid to late 1800s.
