Altar Crucifix | 1800s Antique | 27" / 68.5 cm
A large and beautiful French wooden altar crucifix featuring wonderful foliage around the cross, Calvary / Golgotha base and stunning Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture. Comes from a convent in Northern France and dates back to the period of the late 1800s.
General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are height 27 inches (68.5 cm), width 10.4 inches (26.5 cm). Dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 9.3 inches (23.5 cm) a height from the head to the toes of 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) and a width of 7.7 inches (19.5 cm).
