Altar Crucifix Dieppe Ivory Corpus Christi 24"
A large and beautiful French antique - 19th century wooden altar crucifix featuring stunning 18th century Dieppe carving Corpus Christi (body of Christ), Virgin Mary and INRI sign. The crucifix comes from a France convent and dates back to the period of the 1700s / 1800s.
General: The overall dimensions of the cross are height 23.6 inches (60 cm) and the width is 9.1 inches (23 cm), the base 6.1 inches (15.5 cm), depth 3.9 inches (10 cm). The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi are height 7.9 inches (20 cm), height head to toes 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) and width 4.3 inches (11 cm), Virgin Mary 3.5 inches (9 cm).
