Lamb of God Sculpture | 1800s Antique | 8.5" / 21.5 cm
A RARE and beautiful antique gilded metal sculpture depicting the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) representing Jesus from the Gospel of John: "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world". The sculpture is currently mounted on a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed hanging. Dates back to the period of the mid 1800s.
