A RARE and beautiful antique16th century Italian bronze Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture. Great casting workmanship on this Christ sculpture with large amounts of details. The Corpus Christi sculpture comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and used for a cross or any other way of display. The sculpture dates back to the period of the 1500s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 10.2 inches (26 cm). The overall dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 8.1 inches (20.5 cm), a height from the head to the toes of 6.3 inches (16 cm) and a width of 5.7 inches (14.5 cm). The metal base is 3 x 3 inches (7.5 x 7.5 cm) wide.
