An outstanding Italian Baroque 18th Century Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) wooden sculpture. This Corpus Christi comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and used for a cross, wall or other display. The sculpture dates back to the Baroque period of the 1700s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 29.3 inches (74.5 cm). The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi statue are a height of 23.8 inches (60.5 cm), a height from the toes to the head of 21.3 inches (54 cm), a width of 18.7 inches (47.5 cm), and the metal base is 7.9 inches (20 cm) wide.
Condition: This Corpus Christi is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear. Please see the enclosed images.
