A large and beautiful 1700s antique Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) wooden sculpture. Stunning wood carving artistry on this sculpture with a huge amount of detail and divine facial expression. The Corpus Christi is currently mounted on a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and used for a cross or wall display. The sculpture dates back to the period of the 1700s.
General: The overal height with the stand is 39.4 inches (100 cm). The overall dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 33.1 inches (84 cm), a height from the head to the toes of 28 inches (71 cm), a width of 20.5 inches (52 cm) and the metal base is 7.9 x 7.9 inches (20 x 20 cm) wide.
