A large and beautiful antique French wooden altar crucifix featuring wood carved and Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) INRI sign and skull at the bottom of the cross. Coming from a monastery in Northern France and dating back to the period of the mid to late 1800’s.

General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are height 19.3 inches (49cm), width 6.9 inches (17.5cm). Base dimensions are 6.9 x 3.9 inches (17.5 x 10cm). The overall dimensions of the Jesus Christ are height 5.9 inches (15cm) and the width is 5.1 inches (13cm).

Condition: The crucifix is in good condition with no damage besides age appropriate wear....... please see photos for condition as 1 picture is worth 1000 words.
