Altar Crucifix Wood Carved Corpus Christi Serpent 23"
A large and beautiful French wooden altar crucifix featuring stunning wood carved and polychromed (painted in colour) Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) and Golgota base with serpent. Coming from a monastery in Northern France and dating back to the period of the early to mid 1900’s.
General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are height 23.2 inches (59cm), width 9.4 inches (24cm) and depth of base is 7.1 x 4.3 inches (18x11cm). Dimension of Jesus are height 8.7 inches (22cm) and width 6.5 inches (16.5cm).
Condition: The crucifix is in very good condition with no damage besides age appropriate wear....... please see photos for condition as 1 picture is worth 1000 words.
