A beautiful Italian antique wood carving Angel head statue. Gorgeous woodwork artistry with a great amount of detail and delightful facial expressions. Previously part of the church altar. The Angel is currently mounted on a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed hanging. This Angel carving dates back to the period of 1700s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 16.1 inches (41 cm). The overall dimensions of the Angel sculpture are a height of 12.2 inches (31 cm), a width of 9.4 inches (24 cm), a depth of 7.9 inches (20 cm). The weight is 7.7 pound (3.5 kg).
Condition: The statue is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear - some old treated woodworm holes ....... please see the enclosed images.
