Altar Crucifix with Wood Carved Corpus Christi | 22.8" / 58 cm
A beautiful French antique wooden altar crucifix featuring wonderful wood carved and gilded Corpus Christi (Body of Christ), stunning cross finials and a stepped hexagonal base. This crucifix comes from a convent in Northern France and dates back to the late 1800s - early 1900s.
General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are a height of 22.8 inches (58 cm) and a width of 10.8 inches (27.5 cm). The overall dimensions of the Jesus sculpture are a height of 7.9 inches (20 cm), a width of 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) and the base is 7.7 inches (19.5 cm) wide.
