A RARE and extraordinary antique - 18th Century French wooden sculpture depicting a winged Angel. Stunning antique woodwork artistry with serene facial expressions. This angel sculpture has got a pair Angel of the same style and size - please see the enclosed images and my other listings. Previously part of the altar seting. Angel sculpture comes from a convent in France and dates back to the 1700s.
General: The height with the stand is 23.2 inches (59 cm). The angel dimensions are a height of 16.9 inches (43 cm) a width of 18.1 inches (46 cm) and a depth of 9.1 inches (23 cm). The metal base is 5.9 inches (15 cm) wide. The weight is 7.5 pounds (3.4 kg).
