Angel Sculpture A Wood Carved | 1700s Antique | 13" / 33cm
A RARE antique - 18th Century French wooden sculpture depicting a winged Angel. Stunning antique woodwork artistry with serene facial expressions. This angel sculpture has got a pair Angel of the same style and size - please see the enclosed images and my other listings. The sculpture is currently mounted on the metal display stand but can be easily removed and displayed hanging. Previously part of the altar setting. This angel sculpture comes from a convent in France and dates back to the 1700s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 20.5 inches (52 cm). The overall dimensions of the Angel sculpture are a height of 13 inches (33 cm), a width of 11 inches (28 cm) and a depth of 7.1 inches (18 cm). The metal base is 8.5 inches x 8.5 inches (21.5 cm x 21.5 cm) wide and the weight is 11.9 pounds (5.4 kg).
