Pair of Gilded Cast Iron Candlesticks | 1800s Antique | 27.6" / 70 cm
A RARE pair of French gilded cast iron altar candlesticks featuring a triangular base supported by three scrolled feet and three different images embossed on every side: Virgin Mary, Jesus and Sacred and Immaculate Hearts. The candle drip pan will accept candles up to 3.7 inches (9.5 cm) in diameter. Solid and very heavy candlesticks weighing 30 pounds (13.6 kg) together. These candlesticks come from a monastery in France and date back to the period of the mid to late 1800s.
General: The overall dimensions are a height of 27.6 inches (70cm) and the base is 8.1 inches (20.5 cm) wide. The candle drip pan will accept candles up to 3.7 inches (9.5 cm) in diameter. Candlesticks weigh 30 pounds (13.6 kg) together.
