Corpus Christi Bronze Statue | Antique 1600s
A RARE and beautiful antique 17th century France bronze Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture. Great casting workmanship with chiselled details on this Christ sculpture. This Corpus Christi sculpture comes with a bespoke metal stand from which it can be easily removed and used for a cross or other way of display. The statue dates back to the period of the 1600s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 9.3 inches (23.5 cm). The overall dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 6.9 inches (17.5 cm), a height from the head to the toes of 6.1 inches (15.5 cm), a width of 5.7 inches (14.5 cm) and the metal base is 3 inches ( 7.5 cm) wide.
