A beautiful French antique 19th century wooden Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) sculpture. Stunning wood carving workmanship on this sculpture with a large amount of detail and divine facial expression. The Corpus Christi is currently mounted on the modern steel stand with square base and can be easily removed and used for a cross or wall display. The sculpture dates back to the period of the mid to late 1800's.

General: The overall height with stand is 14.4 inches (36.5cm). Dimensions of Christ sculpture are height 8.3 inches (21cm), height head to toes 7.1 inches (18cm) and the base is 2 x 2 inches (5cm x 5cm).

Condition: The Corpus Christi is in very good condition with no damage besides age appropriate wear ....... please see enclosed images as they are part of the condition description.
