Renaissance Bronze Altar Crucifix | 1600s Antique 20.9" / 53 cm
A RARE French 17th century - renaissance bronze altar crucifix featuring wonderful Corpus Christi sculpture, Skull and Crossbones and a stepped base set on the five ball feet (one ball is missing). Dates back to the period of the 1600s.
General: The overall dimensions of the crucifix are a height of 20.9 inches (53 cm), a width of 7.3 inches (18.5cm) and the base 6.3 inches x 2.6 inches (16 cm x 6.5.cm) wide. Dimensions of the Jesus sculpture are a height of 6.7 inches (17 cm) and a width of 3.9 inches (10 cm).
Condition: The crucifix is in good condition with no damage besides age - one ball feet is missing -related wear ....... please see also enclosed photos as a part of the condition description.
