Ecce Homo Silver Plated Bronze Sculpture | Antique 10.8" / 27.5 cm
A beautiful silver plated bronze sculpture with a wooden base depicting Ecce Homo - Man of Sorrow. Ecce Homo - "behold the man", Latin words used by Pontius Pilate when he presents a scourged Jesus Christ, bound and crowned with thorns to a hostile crowd shortly before his Crucifixion. Dates back to the period of the late 1800s - early 1900s.
