A RARE and beautiful antique wood sculpure depicting Pelican-In-Her-Piety, symbolizes the sacrifice of Christ on the cross (because he gave his blood for others) as well as the Eucharist (because it represents Christ's blood and provides spiritual nourishment). Dates back to the period of the mid to late 1800s.

General: The dimensions of the sculpture are height 10.2 inches (26 cm) and width 13 inches (33 cm), depth is 3 inches (7.5 cm),weight is 2.2 pounds (1 kg).
