A RARE, large and beautiful antique - 1700s (end of renaissance - beginning of baroque) wooden sculpture depicting Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus in original antique condition. The right hand of Virgin Mary and the left hand of Jesus were added in the 20th century and are removable. The crowns on the images are not part of the sale ; they can be purchased separately in my shop - please see my other item for sale. Very heavy statue weighs 42 pounds (19 kg). The sculpture dates back to the period of the early 1700s. Due to size and weight this statue will be shipped by a specialist company - that might require additional time up to several weeks.

General: The overall dimensions are height 47.2 inches (120 cm), the overal dimensions without crown 42 inches (106 cm), width is 19.7 inches (50 cm), the base 13.8 x 9.4 inches (35 x 24 cm), weight 42 pounds (19 kg).
