A beautiful wooden wall icon / sculpture depicting Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus. Wonderful hand carving with outstanding polychrome (painting in color) and serene facial expressions. The statue is at the moment mounted on the metal display stand, but can be easily removed from the stand and displayed hanging on a wall. Dating back to the period of the early to mid 1900's.

General: The overall dimensions are height 12.6 inches (32cm), the statue height 5.5 inches (14cm), width is 3.5 inches (9cm), the base 2 inches (5cm) x 2 inches (5cm).

Condition: The statue is in very good condition with no damage besides age appropriate wear ....... please see enclosed images.
