A RARE antique (17th century) wooden bust sculpture depicting the Saint Augustine of Hippo - theologian and philosopher, and the bishop of Hippo Regius, one of the most important Church Fathers of the Latin Church. It comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the 1600s.
The statue's overall dimensions are 23.6 inches (60 cm) high, 17.7 inches (45 cm) wide, and 9.4 inches (24 cm) deep. It weighs 18.5 pounds / 8.4 kg.
