A beautiful plaster statue depicting Saint Charles Borromeo (also known as Carlo Borromeo and Carolus Borromeus), Cardinal, Archbishop of Milan, leading figure of the Counter-Reformation combat against the Protestant Reformation. Saint patron of apple orchards; bishops; catechists; catechumens; colic; intestinal disorders, cardinals; seminarians; spiritual directors; spiritual leaders; starch makers and stomach diseases.
