St Juliana of Liege Wood Sculpture 21"
A beautiful antique giltwood (gilded wood) sculpture depicting Saint Juliana of Liege also know as Juliana of Mont-Cornillon. Originating from church in Northern France. Stunning wood carving workmanship with huge amount of details and wonderful facial expression. Dating back to the period of mid 1800's. For more detailed description please refer to the pictures.
General: The overall dimensions are height 21.3 inches (54cm), width 8.1 inches (20.5cm). The base is 4.9 inches (12.5cm) x 4.5 inches (11.5cm).
Condition: In very good condition with no damage only some age related (not structural) hairline split in wood on the robe - please see attached images.
