A RARE and beautiful French bronze plaque depicting the Nativity of Jesus. Stunning artistic and casting workmanship with great amounts of detail. Eight Apostles and Angels around the central image. The sculpture comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed hanging. Solid and heavy bronze plague weighing 9 pounds / 4.1 kg. It dates back to the 1718 - see the dating in the middle of the artwork.
General: The overall height with the stand is 20.1 inches (51 cm). The diameter of the bronze plague is 15 inches (38 cm) and the metal base is 5.9 inches (15 cm) wide. The weight is 9 pound / 4.1 kg.
